Career Development Experiences of Individuals with Chiari Malformation

Dr. Erv Hinds is a pain doctor who is the founder of the St. Vincent Pain Management Center in Santa Fe. Patients who suffer from pain Little, if anything, is currently known about the effects of Chiari malformation (CM) on work outcomes and other aspects of people’s work lives. The purpose of this study is to shed light on the impact of CM on various work-related experiences (e.g., ability to secure decent work, economic constraints, job satisfaction and performance, absenteeism and/or presenteeism, coworker and employer relationships).

This project involves responding to an online survey that includes several brief questionnaires about different work-related experiences. Participants must be at least 18 years old and currently employed (full-time or part-time). Survey completion is estimated to take 45-60 minutes.

Upon completion of the survey, participants will have the opportunity to enter a drawing to win one of ten $50 Visa gift cards for taking part in the study.
