Lithia, FL The 2009 Lithia, Florida Walk was held at Aldermans Ford Park. It was a beautiful site for people to rally together in support of Chiarians. We met new people with Chiari as well as some we had met last year. Chiarians from the age of 2 to 49, and 13 altogether with 2 more that people were walking in Honor of them. There were family, friends, and co-workers, all at the Walk to support the efforts of awareness and funds for research. We had 75 people show up for the Walk and we raised over $5,000 in total. The ones at the Walk shared some of their experiences, great food, 23 door prizes, Brain trophies for the Chiarians, and goodie bags for all. The best thing of all was as Chiarians we know we are not alone. There are peolpe just like us and there are people to support us. --Vonda Maxwell
