FOR PHYSICIANS

As part of its mission to improve the experiences and outcomes of Chiari patients, Conquer Chiari makes available medically reviewed literature for qualified physicians to distribute to both new and existing patients. This is a FREE service.

If you diagnose and/or treat Chiari patients and would like literature sent to you ,fill out and fax the
Patient Literature Request Form or send an email to director@conquerchiari.org with your name, address, specialty, and how many Chiari patients you see per year. NOTE that we send a maximum of 25 copies at a time.

Contact information will not be shared with anyone or used for any other purpose.

What They Are

The Patient Education Sheets are one-page documents intended to answer the most common questions someone has when they are first diagnosed. They cover the basics of the conditions, the symptoms, diagnosis, surgery, and what to expect. The information is in bullet fashion and is not intended to be comprehensive, but rather to give a good overview.

How To Use Them

The sheets can be used to educate anyone interested in learning more about the conditions, or to give medical professionals who are not familiar with CM/SM something they can look at. You may email them or print them out and use them freely. We do ask that if you cut and paste a portion of the document for a different use, please acknowledge the source, by including our web address.
